INVITATION

Dear Modelers!

We invite You and your Model Railroad Club to be an exhibitor at an International Exhibition of the MÁV (Hungarian National Railways) Northern Workshop, August 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). 3 days before this date are available to set up your exhibit, from 28th to 30th of July. July 31st is a Technical Convention Day, and two days (4th-5th of August) after the Exhibition are reserved for disassembly.

Opening hours on exhibition days are as follows:
- July 31st, 10 AM: Opening ceremony
- August 1st, 2nd, opening hours: 9AM-6PM
- August 3rd, opening hours: 9AM-4PM.

Planned programs! Accompanying programs:
- Nostalgia tram trips between MÁV Northern Workshop and the Hűvösvölgy wain house of MÁV Childrens’ Railway. Old-fashioned trams will be in service, and there will also be a vechicle-display.
- An old Ikarus 311 bus will be running all day on the same route.
- At night, „István a Király” (King Stephen) Rock Opera played by children, or an other musical show. (Negotiation, and preparation currently going on.)
- Nights: Thursday – „cooking at the camp-fire” Friday – private journey on the Childrens’ Railway Saturday – City sightseeing with the Ikarus 311 bus (previous registration is needed for the accompanying programs) Other programs:
- I. International RR. Module-meeting, Budapest, 2008
- 60 years of the Hűvösvölgy Childrens’ Railway!
- Vechicle-display at the MÁV Northern Workshop
- Introduction of rolling stock maintenance-, and manufacturing companies

Models of hungarian, and other countries’ model clubs (slovakian, czech, austrian, polish, croat, german) will be shown at the exhibition. There will be several dozen meters of LGB (garden railway), and lots of „simple” layouts with train models. The organisers:

We would like you, our your club to register the will of participation up to February, 29th (the previous registration does not have any consequences)!

Please send back your complete registration as soon as possible ( szvk@fw.hu )! What we want to know:
- Number of participants
- Accomodation-needs of the active exhibitioners (accomodation will be provided free of charge for 2 persons who come from a distance of over 50 kilometres, anyone else [non-active exhibitioners, etc.] will have to pay for their accommodation.)
- Food will also be provided in place no charge for 2 active exhibitioners for the time of the building, and the display. (For participants above this number, the lunch will cost 650 HUF(3€).
- The showroom dimensions for companies are: 2,75mX2,75m, this contains a 230V/50Hz socket, and a locker place
